Who we are
Brett M Williams FNP, CPT , CES
Founder and Owner
I have a passion for fitness as well as a clear understanding of the ill-effects poor fitness can have on the individual and community. I initially formulated the idea for Comprehensive Medical Fitness (CMF) while working with obese diabetic clients in a busy family practice clinic. Typically, medical staff would spend about five minutes discussing health and fitness recommendations before being forced to move on to the next patient. Then the patients would be released into the 90-billion dollar fitness industry with no further guidance or direction. Inevitably, those clients who were motivated during their initial office visit would return six months later, defeated and discouraged. Unfortunately, this would often result in a lifetime dependance on prescription medications. I saw this disconnect over and over - if only a service existed that would take that “5 minute encounter” and transform it into a customed-designed treatment program that would give each client the ultimate chance to succeed without falling victim to the plethora of misinformation the fitness industry provides.
CMF provides this solution. As a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) I understand the science of exercise and have the experience to design fitness programs intended to meet those goals. As a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with an emphasis on Functional Medicine, I understand the diseases induced by a sedentary lifestyle and the science and treatment of those diseases that are creating poor health. By combining these areas of expertise, CMF aims to address the epidemic of obesity, chronic illnesses and sedentary lifestyles. Whether a sedentary lifestyle is contributing to obesity, diabetes, sleep disorders, hormone deficiency, chronic pain, mood disorders, self-esteem issues, or more, at CMF, we will address each issue on an individual basis and help our clients achieve their desired results.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing individualized counseling at Comprehensive Medical Fitness, where medical care, mental health, and fitness work together to support long-term health and performance. My role is to address the psychological and emotional factors that influence physical health, behavior change, and overall quality of life.
My approach is person-centered and goal-oriented, meeting each client where they are while supporting measurable progress. Through active listening, reflection, and validation, I help individuals identify barriers, build coping skills, and strengthen the mindset needed for sustainable health outcomes.
I utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities including Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). These approaches are particularly effective in supporting stress management, emotional regulation, motivation, adherence to treatment plans, and lifestyle change—key components of medical fitness.
I work with clients across the lifespan, from ages 10 through older adulthood, addressing concerns such as depression, anxiety, ADHD/ADD, bipolar disorder, grief, and intellectual disabilities. Care is tailored to each individual’s medical history, functional goals, and overall wellness plan.
As part of the interdisciplinary team at Comprehensive Medical Fitness, I collaborate within a functional and medical fitness model to support mental health alongside physical rehabilitation, metabolic health, weight management, and performance goals. I strive to provide a calm, structured, and therapeutic environment where clients feel safe, supported, and empowered to improve both mental and physical well-being.

Rachel Blowers, RD
My name is Rachel, and I am a Registered Dietitian with a clinical background rooted in evidence-based and functional nutrition. I began my dietetic career in Oregon after graduating from Oregon Health & Science University and have spent the past five years working as a clinical dietitian. Through this experience, I recognized a critical gap in outpatient, lifestyle-focused nutrition care—particularly for individuals working to improve health, function, and performance over the long term.
I entered the field of nutrition to help people understand how to fuel their bodies in a way that supports metabolic health, physical performance, recovery, and sustainable behavior change—without unnecessary restriction or stress around food. Nutrition should enhance life, not complicate it. My approach emphasizes education, personalization, and practical strategies that fit real lives.
At Comprehensive Medical Fitness, I work within a functional and fitness-based medical model, collaborating with medical providers, mental health professionals, and fitness specialists to support clients managing chronic conditions, body composition goals, hormonal and metabolic health concerns, and performance-related objectives. Together, we address nutrition as a key component of strength, energy, resilience, and overall wellness.
My goal is to coach and support you in overcoming health obstacles, optimizing nutrition for movement and recovery, and rebuilding a positive relationship with food—so it becomes a powerful tool in your long-term health journey.
